Our Mission
We believe that consistency — not intensity — is what separates UPSC toppers from those who don't make it. Most aspirants are capable. The challenge is staying disciplined and accountable over months and years of preparation.
Aspirant Sarthi's mission is to make consistent, structured preparation accessible to every serious aspirant in India — regardless of whether they have a coaching centre, a study group, or a mentor.
The Problem We Saw
UPSC preparation is a marathon that typically spans 1–5 years. During this time, aspirants struggle with:
- Lack of structure: Without a clear daily system, days pass without meaningful progress.
- No accountability: Preparing alone means there's no one to notice when you skip a day — or ten.
- Scattered tools: WhatsApp groups, Google Sheets, physical diaries — none of them work well together.
- No visibility into progress: It's hard to know if you're improving or just busy.
- Answer writing neglect: The most critical mains skill is often practised the least because there's no easy way to track or share it.
What We Built
Aspirant Sarthi is a purpose-built platform — not a generic task manager adapted for UPSC, but something designed from the ground up for the realities of civil services preparation.
- Daily goal tracking with a 6 AM reset that preserves history — because yesterday's effort matters.
- Study groups that create real accountability through shared progress and group targets.
- Mains answer writing integration — upload your handwritten answer, share it with your group, and build the habit systematically.
- Democratic group targets — members vote on what to study together, so everyone feels ownership over the plan.
- Clean analytics — understand your patterns, identify gaps, and adjust your strategy.
Our Values
- Free, always. UPSC preparation already costs too much. Aspirant Sarthi will always be free for aspirants.
- Privacy first. Your study data is yours. We don't sell it, and you control exactly what's visible to others.
- Built for India. We understand the UPSC syllabus, the optional paper dilemma, the state PSC landscape, and the unique pressures Indian aspirants face.
- Substance over features. We add features only when they genuinely help aspirants. No bloat, no distractions.
